Nail in cross trt

“Without the death, there can be no resurrection.”

Without a doubt, the most powerful statement of God’s restoring love for His people is made in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is why churches like ours will be filled on Resurrection Sunday—We want to celebrate the gift of new life in Christ!
But how much sweeter would our celebration be, if we take time to look upon the price that was paid for our sins? The scriptures are certain that we need to have an understanding of the crucifixion story in order to appreciate the resurrection:
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. (Romans 6:5) For us to be “united with Him” in death, we must take time to remember His death.

Please join us for“Breathing His Last,” our Good Friday Service on March 29th at 6:30-7:30. Nursery & Area 412 for children will be open.
