I like the idea that a blogger posted of setting down his Bible app and instead, reading a physical Bible that he intends to pass on to his kids.
I have my study Bible (that looks like, in my wife Alicia’s words, “A Beautiful Mind”) and I have my Sunday Bible (a nice, leather-bound Allan ESV) with very few, but choice marks and titles of series I’ve taught out of it so far.
I do often think about what my kids might think of those marks someday if they inherit those Bibles from me.
Though I doubt the study Bible’s going to make it. It already has duct-tape holding it together.
I hope they would see that I love the Lord and am grateful to be able to Know His Story for my life.

Thank you for sharing my post. How did you even come across it, though?
I found it on Facebook. My old GRTS buddy Steve Surine posted it.
Oh, okay. Cool. Well, I appreciate your sharing it.
