What is Explore God?

Explore God is a four month campaign that will take place in July to October of 2013 throughout the greater Austin metro area. The goal of Explore God is to invite people to investigate questions about God in a non-threatening way through individual conversations with a believer. Explore God gives us practical ways to generate spiritual conversations around people’s natural curiosity regarding their purpose, the reliability of the Bible, the existence of evil, who Jesus is, and other questions.

But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret.

This fall, Restoration joins a multitude of other Austin area churches who are opening up space for you to Explore God. This campaign represents the most comprehensive, unified effort to raise spiritual awareness in Greater Austin’s history and we’re excited to be a part of this movement.

The Explore God campaign will bring together people who know God’s Story with friends who are spiritually curious to begin to have open and honest conversations about God. This is an exciting opportunity to ask the big questions about the Christian faith, why bad things happen and who is Jesus for REAL?

Explore God is about raising spiritual awareness in our city by openly engaging conversations about God. You’ll be invited to think freely and ask questions and your believing friends will be here to listen and share. We hope that Explore God will be the catalyst for the largest conversation about spiritual things to ever occur in Greater Austin.
