That a man named Jesus lived and taught love, and that he was publicly executed by the Romans under false charges made by his peers, is historically certain. But what happened next–that he was raised from the dead on the third day–is so amazing that it deserves, at least, to be investigated..
Or, at best, to be celebrated.
I want to encourage all of you, my friends, whether you are a believer, or a cynic, to find a church to attend tomorrow that will respect your intelligence and speak to your heart.
We hope that you would learn more about Him and his love in a clear and authentic way.
But I also challenge you to set aside your preconceived notions and tendencies to tune out familiar religious concepts and phrases. Let your ears hear and your heart open to who Jesus was and is for you and all of humanity.
Love and Hope,
Simon & Alicia Hekman Guevara ????????
