Worship is a very important part of the ministry at Restoration.
We are extraordinarily gifted by the commitment of our Worship Leader, James Jean, who has a reputation in the Austin-area as a talented singer/songwriter, a passionate follower of Christ and a mentor. James is also my friend. And it’s from that strength of our friendship that amazing things are happening during our Sunday services.
Jesus said, “Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am also.”
This could mean many things, but I see it as a call to genuine friendship—when two or three agree on the presence of Jesus in their lives and have Him as the bind of their relationship, the real presence of Christ will come closer.
This week, James introduced us to a song from the band, The Violet Burning, called Forty-Weight. Listen to it again here.
...worship in His presence is what I live for, and I just want it to continue. (James Jean)
Very moving. The worship team is always right on par. Definitely felt the presence of Jesus this past Sunday… and always, when attending Restoration. Thank you for sharing!
