Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. [John 14vs5-6]
I was fascinated by the all the attention and accolades a recent fantasy film received, not because it was a bad movie, but because of the overtly mystical themes it carried.
I had to wonder, if the film were as clear with the Christian Story, would it have been honored so?
Our culture is tolerant of most any other belief than Christianity because of the perception of intolerance that many see in the message of biblical salvation.
But what culture misses out on, is that the message of Jesus is fully inclusive! Jesus is The Way to come to know God. He is The Truth about God. And, He is The Light that reveals the path to be with God.
In Christ, God the Creator has opened up a wide path for all His children to come home.
